7AR Golden Beach Resort and Restaurant — Restaurant in Masbate

This is one of the best restaurants in Masbate City. While it is not as classy as Westerners will be accustomed to, they should like the seafood. They do have beef rib for those who miss beef but it is well done. (Don't bother asking for T-Bone steak etc in Masbate - the beef will be as tough as leather wherever you go unless it is cooked for hours). Good dishes to ask for include bihon guisado and chop suey (but don't expect it to be like chop suey from a chinese restaurant in western countries). Staff are friendly and helpful....

It's pretty enough with clean rooms and dining area, plenty of space to lounge around. Convenient location although not too much to do in Masbate anyway. When we went (April 2018) there was lots of work going on, half the might menu was "unavailable" and service slow. It's the lesser...
