Pagatpat blew me away.

We came in as a big group—20 of us—and we were all pleasantly surprised by just how generous the servings were. It’s classic Lutong Bahay at its finest. The flavors were clean, comforting, and most importantly, it didn’t taste like it was loaded with MSG. Everything felt fresh and homecooked, just the way it should be.

For a feast that filled all 20 of us, the bill only came out to around $130–$140. That alone deserves a shoutout. But beyond the food, the service was fast and efficient, the place was spotless, the restrooms were clean, and the view? Beautiful. Tranquil and scenic—just what you’d want when enjoying good seafood.

This is hands down one of the best seafood spots in Leyte. Highly...

First of all, this place is a gem. Their fresh caught seafood is great and the ambiance is awesome (during the day, since I've never been here during sunset, sunrise nor night time). The only thing is, due to it's popularity there's a lot of people who comes and dine in here so the service can be lagged, like really lagged! We waited a while before our orders were served (it was around Lunch Time so I could understand them falling behind). I truly like this place. Honestly, Ocho restaurant in Tacloban was the only known "seafood restaurant" I religiously visit whenever I am in Leyte even though it is hours away from me. But now, since I discovered Pagatpat, I don't think I'll be traveling to Tacloban often for...

Traveled about 100km to eat at this venue. Nice ride from the Tacloban area. There are few bumps in the road and some roadwork but no major delays. Had employees showing us where to park. Nice menu selection and might have given 5 stars, but the lobster and scallops were unavailable 😕. The atmosphere was nice and exciting walking over the water on the bamboo walkway. Very nice two person band for entertainment. The food came in a timely manner with the whole fish and crab coming a few minutes after the rest of the food. I really liked the little popcorn shrimp in the pancit. All the food was tasty. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at this venue and would come back to...
