Pretty dissappointing! Some staffs on the front desk don’t wear mask, fallowing restaurant protocol! I don’t think it was so busy when we visited, there was a lot of tables available and so many staff at the front desk! Came 2:00 pm not lunch, serve arrived to us at 3:30pm and came home 4:00 pm and we are the last people who went home. I invited my parents, in laws and sister in law and my daughter to come over for a merienda to see how beautiful this place is and the food, but we waited for our orders for almost an hour and we tried to fallow up for 2x and said it is coming but no, So what i did, i went to the front desk and ask for our orders coz we waited for so long, their reason was so many paople so they cannot serve it yet, Our orders was halo2x and all are just deep fried and took an hour? And the people who came after us got their orders already and they order just like same order like us, what was that? When i ask about my orders for almost an hour then thats the time they made a halo halo for us, Yikes!! Assume that the order just cook, and why was that they serve us cold so dry noodles that suppose to be hot and it was so cold, shanghai rolls and saggy soft french fries? Oh mine. That order takes a mins. to cook once you let it out it will be so saggy. My guest was a senior and we should treat as the same as others too. When i complained about how cold the order, bunch of staffs are there on the front desk and one person said to her staff to reheat it. I never heard from them a good thing to made me better. Reheat our noodles looks same very dry and cold. We suppose to treat and serve us right since their food are so expensive, never heard any apologize. This place is unprof., We went home dissappointing instead enjoyment. I will never go back to that place anymore. So embarrasing to my guest. Horrible experience. Hope next time they will improve...

I had high expectations for this restaurant, given its Japanese theme, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The most shocking part? They don’t even have sashimi. For a place that markets itself as a Japanese restaurant, this is completely unacceptable. Sashimi is one of the most basic and well-known dishes in Japanese cuisine, yet they don’t offer it at all. If that wasn’t bad enough, the food they do serve is far from authentic. The flavors were bland, the ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and overall, it felt like a poor imitation of Japanese food rather than the real thing.

The only redeeming factor was the ambience, which was decent but nothing special. Unfortunately, a nice setting doesn’t make up for bad food and poor service. Speaking of service, the staff clearly need retraining in hospitality. Their attitude toward customers was unprofessional, and they lacked basic courtesy and attentiveness. It felt like they either didn’t care or weren’t properly trained on how to handle guests.

Overall, this place was a complete letdown. If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience, this is not the place to go. There are far better options out there that actually serve real Japanese food and treat their customers with respect. Definitely not worth the...

One of the most incredibly unexpected places you'll encounter on the road back to Iloilo City..

We had spent an afternoon relaxing in kawa baths in Tibiao, Antique.. And on our way back to Iloilo City we stopped here for dinner.. at 9.30pm.. They were just about to close the kitchen..

The Proprietor noticed us hungry, weary tourists, and immediately proclaimed the kitchen open!

As our orders were being prepared, he enthusiastically guided us through his collection of art and photography displays as well as the historical dioramas and models built within the facility amongst the gorgeous Japanese style gardens..

It's a museum in it's own right..

Whilst showing us the passionately recreated dioramas, he narrated the history of Miag-ao from the failed invasion of the Moro through to the Spanish battles and the US campaigns..

Not only did his staff serve us scrumptious filipino favourite fare but also fresh Japanese maki and sashimi, and most importantly cold Red Horse..

Sulu Garden is one of those places that you'll probably drive past if you weren't aware of where it was.. it's easy to miss..

But as a traveler or a foodie, you'll be thankful when you do stop by..

Johnathan is a Gentleman and a Scholar.. and a damn good host!

I look forward to visiting Sulu...

A Japanese garden-themed restaurant near Miagao Church popular for travelers. Was really looking forward to see and try this place during my recent trip in Iloilo and was both satisfied and disappointed with my experience in the place. Love the fact that the establishment stayed true to its branding as one will instantly feel the Japanese garden ambiance upon reaching the foot of the entrance's stairs. Customers have a choice of dining in the garden or inside a hall (which I believe becomes into an event space if there's an event) if one would like to avoid the heat outside. Was disappointed though when I tried ordering some meals in the menu and learned that they were unavailable leaving me with no choice but to order their available Gyudon instead. Wasn't satisfied as well with the latter's serving as I find the pork slices not that tasty and thin enough added by the unpleasant raw taste of the egg that comes with the dish. Nonetheless, dishes in the place is not that pricey and can be an option for travelers looking for affordable dining places in the area.

Japanese inspired restaurant. We went there around 11:30Am Saturday We were told to just find a place/table and someone will take the order. Few minutes had passed and no one's coming. Probably they have few staffs on that day. So my sister went to the counter to order since we are ready and we only want 1 type of meal. Foodnserving takes time. We ordered chicken teriyaki and sushi by the way with a pitcher of lemonade. The food is great! The service is not that great. We requested for our bill and again it's a wairing game. The people sitting next to our table got their bill ahead of us (they requested it after us by the way). So we decided to go the counter to pay since we have to catch a jeepney going to city. We told the cashier that we've been waiting for our bill few.min ago and deadma! (No reaction). I hope hindi sila mamimili ng customers. Mas nauna pa yon mga mukhang mayaman. Tsk.

Always an ideal place to drop by if you’re looking for a place to eat in Miagao near the beautiful Miagao Church. There’s plenty of options for food and to take some photographs as the landscape is beautiful. However there seems to be no designated parking? Or we werent able to see any. We parked across the street of the entrance. There doesn’t seem to be any wheelchair accessible entrance? Again, ask the staff. The entrance is also through the stairs going down so if you have any senior citizens or anybody with weak knees, take it slow. Food is Japanese fusion but there are other options such as pizza which can be strange seeing as the ambiance is more into Japanese but lo and behold: pizza. But anyway, I guess it doesn’t matter if you’re hungry.
