One of our least favorable dining experiences in Tacurong. We dined in, and the serving time took over an hour, possibly even two. Despite following up multiple times, we were repeatedly told the food was still āpreparing,ā even though at that time, there were only us and two other takeout customers. Several staff members were visibly chatting and playing around instead of attending to the orders.
The sequence of food served was also very odd. First, they brought us a large bowl of rice, just the rice, with no viand. After around 30 minutes, they served the halo-halo (which, to be fair, was the only thing we genuinely enjoyed and would recommend). Then came the finger foods after another long wait. Finally, about 25 minutes later, the main dishes arrived, but by then, the rice was cold, and our appetite had long faded.
Another frustrating part was the payment process. Their signage and staff confirmed they accept card payments, but when it was time to settle the bill, they told us their machine was broken. We didnāt have cash on hand, and with their poor WiFi signal, accessing online banking apps became nearly impossible. Thereās also no nearby ATM, which added to the inconvenience.
While the staff were polite and welcoming, the service was extremely slow and uncoordinated. Aside from the halo-halo, the food didnāt meet expectations. We really hope they can improve their operations because the current dine-in experience leaves a lot...
