I will start with the good part. Take note that this was a reservation rather than taking the set menu.

Pros: Spacious parking even for a busy night. Comfortable and does not feel cramped for its size, layout and seating capacity. There are games for enrichment to pass the time. The staff were quaint and quick with their responses. Lastly, for what I most admire, is the dedication to its themes of authentic and traditional Filipino history, culture and its cuisines. As if I were dining at a home, a museum and a restaurant all in one.

The food has the taste of home and refined restaurant feel that brings polish to the dishes we love. The serving size was adequate for its price.

Cons: The wait time for the meals were long. Not egregiously long, but for it to have been a topic of discussion, jokes, and slight irritation around the table. Though, to give them the benefit of the doubt, it was a busy and packed night. With only 4 cooks and 3 servers this night.

At first bite, I wasn't aware of the price so my impression was originally good, or at worst, “okay”. Some dishes were pleasant, the plating not note worthy (except for the Kare-kare), and i liked how some were not overpowering. But, once i was aware of the price, I was disappointed. It lacked a wow factor so-to-say.

This restaurant is a gem that exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Our dining experience was an absolute delight from start to finish.

From the beginning, their prompt responses to our online queries set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding evening. One remarkable aspect was their flexibility and understanding. Despite arriving late, we were accommodated and welcomed with warm smiles.

The ambiance of the place is inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a family gathering. Not only was every dish flavorful and expertly prepared, but the portions were generous, providing excellent value for money.
