We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and found the entire experience delightful. The honey chili pizza was particularly outstanding, and the portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing. It's great to have such tasty Italian cuisine available nearby.
RECENT UPDATED REVIEW: We revisited this restaurant last month, and unfortunately, our experience was not as positive as before. I previously gave it 4 stars across all aspects, but after this visit, I feel the need to revise my review and lower the rating due to several issues that left us disappointed.
First, the atmosphere was a major letdown, primarily because of the overwhelming number of flies. It wasn't just one or two—there were so many that it became nearly impossible to enjoy our meal. We had to request an additional fan just to fend off the flies, but even then, we couldn’t relax or eat comfortably as we were constantly swatting at them and watching out for our food. It was worse in the restroom, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment. I'm unsure if it's a cleanliness issue or just bad luck with the weather, but it definitely affected our dining experience.
Secondly, while the staff tried their best, their attitude was a bit cold and distant. When we politely asked (for the first time) if we could switch tables due to the number of flies, they seemed somewhat dismissive. Despite there being plenty of empty tables—only three families were dining at the time—our request was not accommodated with the warmth or understanding we would...
Read moreAs a westerner living in Naic, I was so happy to have this restaurant. It was a little difficult to find, and after being lead astray many times by google map, to places / pins that don't exist, we thought we were on a similar goose chase. This is in the Torres Farm resort, just tell the security guard you want to go to the restaurant. You can drive around the edge of the resort and park at the back. You won't have to pay to enter the resort if you just want to eat.
The menu was comprehensive. While yes, I have had better Italian food; this is Naic and for what this is, it was great. I enjoyed both the pasta and pizza, and got extras to take home.
Note on the sizing if you're not from the Philippines... Sharing size is a small snack serving, family size is a full plate that you would get in a restaurant in the US. Family size is still a very reasonable price for this quality of food, especially considering many ingredients are difficult to source locally. Everything tasted made...
Read moreIt is our first visit to Amare La Cucina in Torres Farm. We enjoyed all the food we ordered except when we mentioned to the waiter that we found a clingwrap plastic inside the pepperoni pizza, and then showed it to him, he said he'll mention it to the chef.
When we were done with our lunch, we still haven't heard back. The issue was downplayed because we never heard back from them. I had to tell one of the staff again to check whether they knew what happened and they had no idea. We only want to make sure it never happens again in the future, not removing the plastic wrap in the pizza. The staff then apologise and mentioned that they will look into it because same thing happened before earlier this month.
The stand out dish was the baby back ribs, not recommended to order the chicken thighs which was not...
