April 21. After sending off some paintings airport to airport, I decided to go #duyancafe to check out what's this new FB hype and thinking it was just near the airport. It turned out that it was still a good 21kms away according to GPS but I drove up anyway because I heard they open only on weekends. It's a nice cafe with a great view of the mountains and considering its duyan = hammock, I tried getting on the lone hammock by the entrance and started rolling my video for my places to check out vlog. As I was vlogging along I sensed that a lot of people wanted to take selfies on that one hammock that had been unoccupied when I passed by a lot of times taking videos and pictures. A Duyan staff, in her desire to please the customers asked me to get out of the hammock so that others could take their selfies too. I then said, huh--?? I was also a paying customer and one not just posting on FB and IG by making a vlog about their place for free and here I was being removed from the hammock for another cuvtomer. Dear Duyan, I also post my reviews on Google as a Local Guide Level 5 and it will appear on Maps as well. I put my experiences on YouTube and WordPress just for fun as my personal journal that other people might find helpful. I hope there will be more hammocks for your customers in the future and a more sensitive staff. #bloggerlife #vloggerlife #justforfun #onlinejournal...

We've been there twice (both on a weekday and within a week), it's relatively calm. The wind is great and the view is calming.
They have a deck where you can take awesome photos but please be mindful of other customers as you might ruin the view for everyone else.
Seats are limited and we prefer to sit on the garden seat, as majority of the selfie takers will be inside, if you want peace and quiet.
It's a little cafe so don't expect much foodwise. They have corkage for outside food. I'd definitely be coming back to chill soon.
There is no entrance fee, so expect the prices to be mid range. Some locals are also selling fresh buko juice beside the cafe. P50 during our visit. It's quiet expensive.
Food : mediocre Prices. : mid range Ambiance : perfect for nature lovers Location. : just an hour away...
Read moreGreat place to sip your coffee while enjoying the view. Just like what its name means, a hammock, this place has hammocks and benches that will give you the view of a beautiful mountain and other natural sceneries, while relaxing in their hammocks or enjoying a good conversation with a friend or family in their benches. Though, one thing to note, the cafe offers limited options of coffee variety and snacks. Also payment needs to be in cash. You have to make sure you have Philippine Peso with you. We rode a private vehicle but even with Google Maps, driving our way to the destination was harder than it seems because it was confusing to reach the coffee shop. But it was still worth it when we got there because of the scenery and the warm...
