I used to like dining at a Max's even if its pricey than other restos because the food portions were worth the price. But not anymore. (We were here around September 2023.)
We ordered a half chicken which comes with kamote fries, a combo meal (chicken and lumpiang sariwa), and solo order of lumpiang sariwa.
They first served the lumpiang sariwa and half chicken with kamote fries. I didn't eat right away because we were thinking that the said lumpia is for the combo meal. Unfortunately, we were disappointed after knowing that the lumpia initially served was the solo order. Its size looks like half of what they used to serve. The lumpia in the combo meal was much smaller. Yes, prices have increased including that of Max's, but they have made the serving smaller, too. Food is amazing. Especially the spring chicken and sizzling tofu! I was just dissaopinted that they put small chips with the chicken instead of kamote fries. The Halo Halo is not worth for thr price. It's small tham before.

General Tip: Don't come during Lunch Time on a Sunday or else expect very long...
