Tempura house a definite must try food place in Ormoc. We have been dining here since covid restrictions was lifted and when dining at establishments are allowed.
We liked their Shake Sushi, Sashimi, Ebi Tempura, California Maki, Seafood Ramen, Kani Salad, Kani Sushi, Gyudon, Teriyaki, Tuna Sushi, among others. They also offer Bento and Don if you are into set meals and not on ala carte food servings.
Food can be eaten using the usual chopsticks but may opt to use spoon and fork if you are not comfortable to use the chopsticks. Sauce and side dish are served as part of the meal, Wasabi are also serve to those who want to spice up a bit the serve food.
For drinks, they do have the usual softdrinks and fruit tea. Though, we have not asked if they serve Japanese fusion teas and or black tea which is usually serve when on a Japanese restaurant in big cities.
Best to come here before scheduled breaks or dinner time as this becomes full packed during peak hours.
Located on the outskirts of the busy city life, on the same building as the Badminton City. Good place to dine after a sweaty ordeal playing Badminton.

We shared tuna sushi which was very good . the shrimp tempura was excellent , and the chicken teriyaki was as expected . Service was good overall one of the better restaurants in the ormoc city area . I do recommend it if you have time . Not terribly expensive either definitely a good value...

Be sure to be in your best clothes to be served appropriately. Went there in our pambahay clothes and the server just tossed the menu book on the table - as if wasn’t pleased to serve us because of how we...
