If you're looking for a slice of paradise hidden amidst the breathtaking hills heading to Baler, look no further than this hidden gem that has captured our hearts time and time again. Nestled cozily by the hillside, this place exudes a magical combination of charm and tranquility that keeps pulling us back like a magnetic force. From the moment you step foot in this country home-inspired haven, you're enveloped in an inviting warmth that instantly feels like a bear hug from an old friend. The interior is carefully adorned with rustic touches and an abundance of greenery, creating an ambiance that feels like a comforting embrace from Mother Nature herself. Now, let's talk about their hot chocolate, and oh, what a divine treat it is! Silky, velvety, and rich, it's the kind of elixir that can mend a broken heart or ignite a spark of joy on the cloudiest of days. With each sip, you are transported to a world of bliss, momentarily forgetting all your worries. But let's not forget about the true star of the show - the Hillocks chicken in olive oil. This succulent masterpiece effortlessly achieves the perfect balance of tenderness and flavor, leaving you spellbound and savoring every last morsel as it melts in your mouth like an edible symphony. What makes this place even more endearing is its thoughtfulness towards families. Being baby-friendly with high chairs available makes it a delightful destination for parents looking to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved break without sacrificing their little one's comfort. As if all of this wasn't enough, the surrounding garden is an enchanting oasis that begs you to stay and bask in its splendor. With nature as your backdrop and the sweet aroma of blossoms in the air, you can easily while away a couple of hours here, lost in time and fully immersed in a blissful state of contentment. Visiting this spot is like stepping into a portal that transports you to a different country altogether - one where worries are left at the door, and the only thing that matters is reveling in the joy of the present moment

Went here on our way back from Baler. Maybe because of that stark contrast from a bad restaurant experience we had from the night before or maybe because of where it was situated, this cafe was a literal breath of fresh air. Ordered the batutay and the recado and washed it down with Spanish hot chocolate. Loved it. Worth stopping by if ever you’re going to Aurora.

Nice view, poor service. We stood by their counter for about 7 minutes, no one cared to take our order nor greet us. We ended up leaving so I can't comment on the food. By the way, while the counter attendant was busy chatting with other customers, we happen to see the old fella in the kitchen smoking while cooking. But there's no denying, the view is great.

Warning all would-be guests of the resort. We were bumped-off our confirmed reservation only a few hours from our stay. We had confirmed reservations for 2 rooms for Feb. 23-24, 2019. I made it thru the owner herself, Ms. Emi on Feb. 1. On the night of Feb. 22, she texted me to say that there are no more rooms available. But she made plans to transfer us to her cousin's house, which turned out to be more expensive. I told her that i want to talk to her and ask face to face what happened. When we arrived at her resort, she never apologized personally and literally just accompanied us to our alternate accomodation, then left. Although she texted her apologies and offered us free meals, it was not what we wanted. She should have owned up to her mistake personally, talked to us, apologized upfront, and not come up with a lame excuse that the Japanese guests and their "partners", who.she gave our rooms to, booked...

We stopped by here on our way from Aurora to Manila for breakfast and we're so glad we did! We came early (7ish am) on a weekday and though they were still setting up shop, we didn't mind perusing through their garden and marvelling at the wooden furnitures adorning the cafe. The menu (albeit not extensive) covers a range of breakfast items (batutay sausage is a must-try!), Lunch fares, different sandwiches and assorted drinks - all reasonably priced. We ordered the batutay sausage, recado sausage and the canadian bacon (came with fluffy pancakes) and all have 2 eggs and a big serving of rice. Just what we needed for the long drive back home. We would definitely stop by again and try their beef binabayasan next time. Thank you for the...
