We recently had a wonderful dining experience at KickAss Coffee Restobar, a Dulangan, Puerto Galera beachfront restaurant with an excellent & extensive Western/Filipino food menu. The owner and his experienced staff as usual provided very attentive service. Their “special” last weekend was a Southern Style Sunday Roast Brunch, which was a feast of smoked beef brisket, smoked ham, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and succulent veggies all on one plate !! The meat was tender and very flavourful, the potatoes were creamy and smooth with fresh and crispy veggies. The portions were generous and very satisfying and provide great value for money. We also enjoyed the view of the sea and the breeze while we ate. It was a perfect way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Ernesto is a great host and owner. They don’t just serve good cold beer in a really nice local environment but as well food. The food there is super delicious and atmosphere relaxed. Try out the local sisling sisig or chicken adobo and you will not be disappointed. Furthermore, all the other British style dishes were extremely good as well! It is the combination of great location (just few meters away from the sea / by the Dulangan beach), relaxed atmosphere created by the owner and his beautiful daughter (with a great singing voice), extremely good food and reasonable/affordable pricing for dishes as well as drinks.
