The HAPPY HUSKY CAFE is a restaurant with a unique theme that blends Japanese anime and husky dogs, evident in its decor, ambiance, and menu. We came here at noon for lunch and despite the hot temperature outside, we were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant's interior comfortably cool and refreshing, providing a perfect escape from the heat. At the entrance, there is a lobby furnished with a nice sofa set and a library stocked with anime books. This is an 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 who want to dine with their furry friends. The dining areas are thoughtfully designed with unique styles, each section having ample distance from one another. Additionally, hooks are provided at every dining section, enabling patrons to tether their dogs securely. I decided to try the lechon kawali teriyaki rice bowl, which was reasonably priced at 200 pesos and came in a generous serving size. I didn't know that a Japanese cooking technique could be used to prepare lechon kawali. Anyhow, the dish tasted great and was quite tender. While it wasn't as super crispy or crunchy as I had anticipated for lechon kawali, it was satisfying. The restaurant offers a diverse range of dishes and beverages which my colleagues enjoyed, including coffee and beer. And there is even 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐎𝐆𝐒! A spacious playground is located outside the building, which appears to be designed for dogs. Although we were informed that huskies were usually present, they were unfortunately not around during our visit. I had the tofu teriyaki bowl and this was pretty good too, the portion size for me was perfect. and two starters/appetizers filled my boyfriend stomach well enough for brunch
SUCH cute dogs, so many siberian huskies. even though it’s not their natural habitat in this weather, Joanne and her partner take very good care of the dogs. they go inside during the hottest part of the day so that’s around 12-3/4. if you want to come feed them some ice or play around with them, just come early or late. only 150PHP/pax (I think you can stay for quite some time! we just arrived at 1120 so just had a quick play date with them) 🐕
they also have a fish spa, with pretty large fish in different bassins, I must say this is the best condition I’ve seen these types of fish live in, and also, the owners keep the place (overall) very clean!! 130PHP/pax and you can stay for as long as you want🧼
the owners, who are belgian/filipina have so much passion for taking care and maintaining the dogs, the restaurant, fish spa, and even martial arts/yoga/zumba center (SEVEN DRAGONS🐉 ). all in all we spent three hours here, and are coming back tomorrow for a yoga...
Read moreI had the best couple of hours here drinking, eating and playing and interacting with the dogs! I hope to go back and have even more time when next I come to try out the fish spa. Kudos to the owners for all the amazing details and obvious care and love that went into this relaxing peaceful oasis! The staff are friendly and attentive and it feels like you're hanging out at a good friend's, but with real Belgian fries and great drinks!! The huskies were bigger than me and I don't personally have dogs but I fell in love with all their different personalities after my time with them (big area separate from the cafe). Best therapy and remedy ever for taking a break from the elements or the traffic at any time of day!...
