After our trip to Burias Island we went here for dinner. It had great reviews and is the current no.1 resto in Gumaca. The place itself looks quaint. Maybe if we had gotten there earlier with enough light it would have been totally instagrammable. I was just super disappointed with the food I ordered. I asked the lady at the cashier for their specialty and she recommended karekare. I was super hungry and after waiting for almost an hour, this is what they gave me. There's no meat. It's pure beef fat. :'( So I asked if this is their version of karekare and why they did not inform me. The waiter INSISTED that it's OXTAIL. So for 350php I only ate the veggies with the half...

This place is wonderful. A rare find in Gumaca... along the stretch of Maharlika highway. Using organic and locally produced ingredients, the food here is lusciously delicious. The ambience is fresh with vegetable garden right beside the restaurant, where kangkong is abundant. The chef and owner is passionate about healthy and organic food.
