My experience at The Bulawan Floating Restaurant is quite nice, we went at the restaurant as part of a side trip after visiting The Windmill Farms at Pilillia, The concept of the restaurant is good with connecting bridges and pathways and scattered eating cabana. The entire vibe and ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and peaceful, with giant fishponds and trees that cover the heat from the sun. The comfort room is also good, clean. The fishing experience is quite nice and it's for free; you only have to pay for feeds as bait for the fishes or use live worms which I do not go near to, Fishing isnt for me and I found it to be really boring maybe because I have ADHD I can not sit still. What I dont like about the fishing experience is you have to pay for the fishes that you caught and its really expensive, you work hard for it and you still have to pay for it. We watch the sunset from the lake view passed the ponds and its really beautiful. The service is really slow and quite terrible, getting the attention of a server is really hard for additional orders since the place is huge but they could have put a buzzer or a bell to signal them; so the best thing to do is order all, order all the extras that you might want such as drinks. The food is really good, we enjoyed the food, its delicious and would comeback for the food but the serving size or the food portion is really small and not a value for money. The affordability of the restaurant is in the midscale. I still highly recommend this restaurant if you are near the area. The parking space is fairly huge and will be enough but its not a...
Read moreIt is difficult to choose the worst aspect of Bulawan. The fact that they do not answer their landline for reservations, then they greet you with a pithy "you should have ordered by phone. Cooking takes time here." Or is it the deafness of the waiters even if you scream your lungs out in their open air restaurant? Or the waiter I approached who answered me with "tell it to the others". Or the food which arrived in intervals of 20 minutes, ruining everyone's appetite. Or the distinct chemical taste of instant buillion in their soup. Or their watery pancit canton. Or their halo-halo with spoiled kaong. What could have been their saving grace is their fishing facility, and they said they would lend us their bamboo fishing poles, but the poles never came. To finish off, how would you like eating enveloped in the fermented fish smell of patis; perhaps the restaurant sits beside a fish sauce factory. Bulawan is one resturant that can contribute to world happiness by simply...

We stumbled upon this place while traveling, and its inviting ambiance caught our attention. We decided to give it a try, and it truly exceeded our expectations!
We ordered Sisig, Dinakdakan, Ensaladang Ampalaya, and Sinigang na Salmon. The flavors were authentic, and every dish was well-prepared. The waiting time was reasonable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
I highly recommend trying their Sisig and Ensaladang Ampalaya—they were the highlights of our meal! The sisig was perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of crispiness and flavor, while the ensaladang ampalaya was refreshing and paired wonderfully with the other dishes.
The ambiance added to the charm, with a cozy and welcoming vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're traveling or just looking for a great spot to dine, this place is worth visiting. We'll definitely come...
