Antikenyu Takun Grill and Restobar — Restaurant in San Jose

What a find. We have already been here 7 times and even make special trips, driving from far away to come dine here.

The food is simply amazing and that says a lot for the area of not only San Jose but Iloilo as well. We have ordered so many things from the menu and they are all great tasting, big portions and a great value. From the hit wings to the grilled fish there is nothing that isn't tastefully cooked there. Some of our favorites are the BBQ Ribs, Kinilaw, the Baked Clams and the grilled fish. Even the shakes are some of the best we have had in the Philippines.

Couple the amazing food with a pleasant, live music atmosphere and then add a charismatic owner that understands both food and hospitality and you have a winning recipe. There hasn't been one time the owner didn't stop over to see how the food was and chat with us about his food, philosophy and fun.

You really can't go wrong here. Great for date night, family time, celebrations or just to feed yourself. The prices are great, the food is better. We hope to see this restaurant expand and go to Iloilo city as other popular vacation destinations like Boracay, Bohol and Cebu city.
