Been here(Branch 2) on May 7, 2017 along with a group of colleagues heading to Laiya for a company outing. My honest opinion: This place seems to be overrated based on previous reviews and as shown in tv shows. We ordered: - kaldereta (2/5) - bulalo (2/5) - bopis (1/5) - bicol express (2/5) - bangus prito (3/5) - halohalo (1/5) The kaldereta is basically beef in sauce--that's all. If you're like me who loves some veggies and some of those bell pepper and spices, you're not going to enjoy it. And this isn't cheap either. Bopis -- I think for a meat-lover team, when something doesn't get eaten, it doesn't really taste good. So 2/3 plates left untouched. Bicol Express - so so. your typical bicol express. They could add a bit more coconut milk and that usual Bicol Express "anghang" Bangus prito - Your usual bangus prito. Nothing more, nothing less. Halohalo - if you're a couple, just get a single order. Trust me, it's a lot -- a lot of ice. The sangkap are ready-made grocery type stuff. Not like what I would expect a province halohalo to be like--I expected a homemade cooked sweetened ingredients. Bulalo - more like nilagang baka with pechay. They give you unlimited sabaw though--maybe why it tastes so bland. A good point though--their baka is really meaty and soft to bite. Would be decent of you make your own sawsawan of patis, kalamansi, and sili. The place: They now have two branches--one at the highway beside a gasoline station. The other one is roughly 800m from the highway branch accessible through a barangay road to the left of the highway. No airconditioning so it could get really humid if you're not used to the heat--some people opt to have take-outs. Tips: 1. They give ample calamansi, sili, and patis so enjoy making your own sawsawan to make your food malinamnam. 2. Order in advance to reduce waiting time WILL I GO BACK - BIG NO :) <3

Great place for authentic gotong Batangas! Also, they do serve a mean bulalo! This location - which looks like the original house and lot of the owners - gives that homey ambiance that adds to the experience of home-cooked dishes that you long for. There's ample parking as its on a side street from the main highway. Wait staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. And the food? Well, don't let the limited menu fool you. Everything they have is great!

Food is OK, we tried caldereta, bopis, bicol express and fried atay 😁 I think this is popular with the locals. If you are craving for these menu it's a must try 👍

Left early to try their goto but missed it and only caught 1 small bowl. Not impressed with their food except their toasted atay. Goto, bulalo and chicharon must be improved but won't be returning anytime soon since it's too far. Also, VERY EXPENSIVE for a group of 4 adults, 1 child & 1 toddler. Almost P1,700 for food that is not impressive. Extremely disappointed. Overrated. Don't believe the hype 👎🏽 Goto lovers, I would rather avoid this place and look...
