CHENELEN's LOMI HAUZ — Restaurant in San Nicolas

Coming from Manila and hearing about this store, we went here when we were in Agoncillo. We already anticipated the number of people dining here. What we didn't expect was the attitude of the crew.

Upon ordering we were told 10 min given that it was to be cooked. It was to-go so we waited in the car. 15 min had passed I went back to take the order. I was told it wasn't ready yet due to the number of orders ahead of us I said Ok I just went back coz we were told 10 min and it has been 15 min already. So I went back to the car waited for another 10 min. Went back again and sadly it's not yet prepared.

That's when I looked for the owner. Coz I told the crew that she said another 10 min and it has been already a total of 25 min and it isn't prepared yet? That's insane. And they should stop giving those time frames if they know they can't make them by then. They have been doing this for some time now and they don't know how to give estimates til now? Such a bull.

When we got their lomi, nothing fancy. The one in pansipit is better...

Broth was a little bland, but that is where the fun begins.. consider it a canvass on which to apply your own take on food art ~ with soy sauce, chili, diced onion and calamansi serving as your coloring!
