Highlights: you can enjoy a very beautiful sunset view here, the view of SPC and the mountains of tagaytay, makiling , malarayat, tikiw, banahaw and cristobal. also good food. Has been my go to comfort place and comfort foods for quite a time now.
Food: crispy palabok is superb Their salads is jiust okay nothing extra ordinary, just take that it is for sharing Pizza also good Smoothies a must try!
Price: depends from your finacial standings and how deep your pocket is, for me food prices are decent. For some it might be surprising as it is comparable to those resto in the metro.
Staff: all courteous but be warned tho that during busy and packed days they might tend to be snobish, what i did when it came to this was approach the bar and directly requested for my needs but this only happened once in a lot of occasions we have been here, has been bringing my friends visiting SPC here too. Additionally, on hot sunny days specially if seated outdoors just be self aware that there tends to be flies this is because the cafe is sorrounded below by gaming rooster farms and other livestock, totally understandle. If it comes to this you may request for their gigantic fans to shoo away the flies and be refreshed as well😅😅😅😅😅
Will I come back?????
Has been going back for a time already.
PS. Anything you may find not into your liking jiust politlely ask and request, they will totallly heed into...
Read moreI would rank this as one of the worst restaurants in San Pablo. Our group of five went there for dinner and waited almost an hour for a seat, which was understandable since it was Mother's Day. Once we were directed to our table, we had to order our food immediately because it was past 9 PM, and we hadn't eaten since late in the afternoon.
We were told that our food would be served at least 30 minutes after we ordered, so we waited. 45 minutes passed, nothing. We waited another hour for our appetizers, and then another 30 minutes for our main courses. We were still waiting for one of our orders when we asked the reception about it. They informed us that our last order wouldn't be served because they had run out of ingredients. This was incredibly frustrating.
We could have accepted the situation if one of the many servers (who are just lurking around) had informed us that the food wouldn’t be coming. Additionally, some of the pasta dishes were served cold. While the food didn’t taste bad, I wouldn’t risk returning to this restaurant. If you want to enjoy a meal with friends or family, I highly recommend going to restaurants in the city center—there are far better options available. This place? Absolutely...
Read moreI commend the staff for being helpful and attentive. The location of the restaurant is also on par with Tagaytay hot spots due to the amazing view.
The food, well, that's another story. Food was just... Ok. Iykwim. Typical cafe food, nothing too special, no umami factor that awe inspires us.
Truffle fries were a bit soggy, they weren't dried properly. Porterhouse was too chewy and hard to swallow. We had to return it to the kitchen to cook it again, but it still came out the same, the coffee was so mild we had to order an extra shot, the salad was good but doesn't justify the price over that quantity, the burgers were also just okay, nothing too special to note, pasta was al dente but still lack in flavor.
Waiters had all the love to make you feel, but the chef's kiss just wasn't there.
Everything was laid out on time and perhaps too fast, which for some groups are a good thing since everyone could eat at the same time, and for some a negative thing, which means the food were prepped earlier and not fresh.
Overall, you can just go for the view or for the heck and entertainment of it. Outside cake for birthdays are okay, but eating it inside will incur you a...
