I don't really get what the rave is all about here, since we at most had an okay experience. We ordered fish, meat, a shake and a beer which costed us a whooping 750 pesos. Anyone who's been travelling the Philippines knows that this is very expensive. The food was okay, not bad at all but didn't taste great, either. The portions were kinda small and we had to go to a street food vendor afterwards to actually get full. We were the only ones there except for another couple who ordered after us, and it took about 45 minutes before we got our food. The saving grace for this place is its location, it's located near a beautiful and secluded beach, away from the noise of the nearby village. All in all, this place is by no means bad, it is just very pricey for what you get and not really worth the hefty price tag.

"Looks can be deceiving" as they say. This place may look like uninviting on the outside but when you make a several steps you'll certainly fall in love with the vibes and atmosphere of the area. So laid back and refreshing. The infinite view of crystal clear ocean will fill your day with glee. What's even nice is that they served a wide array of foods you can grab like sandwiches, shakes especially coconut, and heavy meals. One you'll certainly love when visiting Alegria, Sta. Monica, Siargao Island.

Perfect little spot by Alegria beach in Santa Monica. The space offers undercover seater area, as well as an open lawn with low tables, mats, cushions, bean bags and adorable, well behaved dogs for some company if travelling solo. Chicken sisig was delicious - certainly a must try, and paired perfectly with calamansi juice. I'll be back to try more on the menu, but the atmosphere alone is enough reason to come back, and relax, enjoy the view, sounds of the ocean and read a book.

The Coconut Nut, the only eatery in the area, with hopes of enjoying a meal and perhaps even a breakfast since they open at 9 am. While their operating hours are understandable, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.I ordered a chicken salad, only to find out upon its arrival that it was laden with cheese, which I'm intolerant to. Despite bringing this to the staff's attention, they offered no solution, merely stating that the dish was already prepared.Paying over 300 pesos for a piece of chicken felt like a hefty price to pay for a disappointing dining experience. Overall, while The Coconut Nut may have potential, my encounter fell short of expectations due to the lack of accommodation for dietary restrictions and the underwhelming response...

We arrived and sit in the area closer to the beach until we were told that sitting there is 500 ph pesos, so we moved (There was no one else at the place but us and the people working there) the prices are over rated but the food was not bad, we asked for a egg sandwich which was pretty tasty, the fries also ok BUT the beers were NOT cold. We were so hungry that after the food all was ok BUT when leaving we were asked to pay parking fee to which I rejected immediately. We pay 720 ph pesos for only 2 sandwiches, fries and 2 beers and on top of that asked to pay parking?! The fee was not much but come on! We were there...
