The place was a bit crowded when we went there given that it was lunch time. But there were still vacant tables so we were able to grab one.
The system is pay as you order. You place your order up front and pay at the cashier. Then your food will be served to your table. The specialty of the place is their chicken dishes. But because we went here on Holy Thursday, eating meat is forbidden so we settled for their seafood dishes which were delicious as well.
We ordered a total of four dishes. The frilled prawns were a challenge to eat because the skin and meat fused together. But the meat was soft and juicy. The sweet chili prawn was not too sweet or spicy. The sizzling tuna belly was delicious. I thought it would be a bit hard but it wasn't. The grilled bangus was also delicious.

Read moreWhy you should go here: The place is relaxing. It is a restaurant by the beach. The place is covered by big trees, making the surroundings cool. The huts are designed to look like boats. There is a playground for restless children to vent off excess energy. Parking doesn’t seem to be a problem. There are spaces within the premises of the restaurant for vehicles. You’d like to park here since the area is shaded by trees. If the place is full, there are also parking spaces outside the premises. Jos is a good pit stop for those making a long drive.

Read moreI knew of this restaurant the first time I went to Dumaguete in the late 1970s.,It was the restaurant in Silliman Avenue. And I have passed this Sibulan restaurant since being a regular annual visitor to Negros Oriental. And tonight, at about 7:00 pm was the first time I ate in Jo’s Chicken Inato. The Sibulan restaurant is big with ample guarded parking lot. Ordered chicken & was disappointed. Only Pecho was available, no paa. The grilled pecho was small, almost charred, dry and not delicious. They had no grilled or kilawin tanguigue, but had tinolang tanguigue. At least they had Coke Zero. Also Ordered sweet chili prawns & grilled prawns. So so. Maybe the expectation was too high? No, the food was really...
