Got the unsweetened mocha. While I like the mocha flavor, I don't think it goes well with an acidic coffee. Most coffee shops with bright tasting blends usually have a more bodied option so you can choose your preference. At filtr you have no choice, and it's not a good choice, the acidity really comes through which adds an unpleasant sourness, not like the more balanced brightness of a good geisha or Kenya. The custard Danish was super tough, none of that flaky croissant texture I was expecting, like it's been on display for days now.

We ordered Iced black and Spanish Latte. The service was quick. The coffee used was quite acidic (Benguet), while the Spanish Latte used too much condensed milk. Their cups also leak when you swirl the coffee cup. There are improvements to be had. However our momentary stay was pleasant because of the ambient lighting and music. It’s good to study/work here because they have outlets. However, they don’t have wifi. Their bathroom is clean. They accept cash and gcash as payment.

The coffee shop is located a few minutes away from Paseo de Sta. Rosa. Upon entering the cafe, you'll be greeted with the aroma of fresh coffee and a chill atmosphere. I always get their crookies since those always hit the spot for me paired together with their good coffee. The baristas were knowledgeable with their craft during my visit and they also offered great service. Definitely coming back next time.

Ordered 2 hand drip, pour over coffees. Very excited because the beans were from market lane (a very famous roaster from Australia). The brews were stalled, so the barista took out the stalled water and served me 100ml+ brews of underextracted coffee, lacking body, sweetness and aftertaste despite their high ratios. I would appreciate if it was redone, or if the barista just yielded that she was having problems, but the coffee was still served at its sorry state. Definitely not...
