We recently visited Monstera Cafe, and it easily became one of our new favorite spots. The cafe has a cozy, plant-filled ambiance that immediately sets a relaxing tone. warm lighting, and earthy interiors, it feels like a peaceful escape right in the city.

We ordered a Spanish Latte, which was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just how we like it. The Lemon-Raspberry Cooler was light and refreshing, with a great balance of citrus and berry—perfect for a hot day. For snacks, the Onion Rings were crispy and well-seasoned, served hot and not too greasy.

For mains, the Tapang Taal was flavorful and tender, served with garlic rice and egg—comfort food done right. The standout dish, though, was the Beef Burger Steak. The patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and the mushroom gravy complemented it beautifully. Portions were generous and satisfying. Of course, let’s not forget about the Puto Bumbong. So tasty.

Service was warm and friendly. Staff checked in on us just the right amount—attentive but not intrusive. The place was clean, the music mellow, and the overall vibe perfect for a laid-back meal or catching up with friends.

Monstera Cafe isn’t just about aesthetics—it delivers on flavor and experience too. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy good food, this place is definitely worth a visit....

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We arrived around 6pm. Madaming tao at halos wala ng pwesto. . May kasunod kaming group (9 guests).

Otherwise, baka kahit gusto namin magdine-in malamang pwersahin nila kaming i-take out na lang ang order namin.

Monstera Cafe PH my mission is to glorify God by speaking the truth about my experience. No make up stories, no added dramas.

Monstera Cafe PH full capacity, short staffed, small business, high volume of customer... These are not my issues/concerns. I am not an inconsiderate customer. I can wait patiently for my turn. Kaya ko mag-antay kahit gutumin if I decided to stay despite of waiting time.

But the situation yesterday was different. We were already seated and ready to order when one of you booted us para "pagbigyan ung ibang customers". That part of your explanation only proves my point. Your customer service applies only to selective customers.

If the table was reserved tulad ng sabi nyo.. bakit tsaka nyo lang sinet up at dinuktungan ng additional table para magkasya ang 9 na tao after nyo paalisin yung husband ko? Matagal-tagal na kaming nakaupo doon and almost ready to oder nung tinaboy nyo kami. Yes, that's how we felt - tinaboy. Bakit walang nagbabantay isa sa inyo bago pumasok to advise if may waiting time na ba? If short staffed kayo, bakit 2 pa kayong namulot ng basura? That would make more sense kesa short staffed na nga kayo tapos dalawa pa kayong numumulot ng basura. What difference will it make if nakausap mo ako kahapon kung di ka nagpupulot ng basura? The quality of your service should be seamless regardless if I am talking to the owner, manager or any of your staff. Stop making excuses for your short comings. Apologizing will never make up for how you treated us. Learn from your mistake instead of using "small business", "short staffed", etc. as an excuse. Being a small business is not a permit to underperform. Can't use it as scapegoat. I expect good customer service from small or huge business group.

I'll rest my case here. I am decided not to return and spread to everyone my experience to keep you on your toes and bring...

One of the best places here in Silang to go to if you’re looking for specialty coffee. They sell really nice beans if you want to drink their coffee at home.

The food is really nice. Pretty generous serving. Don’t get me started with their desserts. It’s best to partner them with their specialty coffee. Must-try: the dark chocolate cake. It’s pretty rare to find a cafe here in Silang with good affogato, and man, they did not disappoint.

If you’re not a coffee drinker, they have frappes and juices, HOWEVER, I really recommend you try out their specialty coffee.

The staff and the owner are really nice. You can tell that they are passionate with coffee and with what they do.

Although the drive to the resto is a little bumpy, they do have a lot of parking space and they are dog friendly

I’m not gonna lie, first time I searched Google Maps to recommend me a cafe, I had doubts when I read Monstera Cafe’s name, just because most specialty coffee shops has those ‘hipster’ names now, and dont get me wrong, I thought it’s gonna be one of those cringy, instagrammable place you visit, but man I was sooooooo wrong!

Will definitely go back here to make sure we finish their whole menu and to buy more beans.

Do visit the place if you’re on your way up to Tagaytay or going...

Monstera Cafe PH is one of the most memorable places to our family. Our mom who recently passed loved to go here for family dinners. Today, for our eldest sister's birthday, we decided to go back for the memories and the delicious food. Though the menu is limited, the ingredients are choice and fresh. Everything is well prepared and well thought of. We especially like the spicy salted egg chicken and tapang Taal. The coffee is good (though a bit sweeter than we prefer). They even have a keto option, but unfortunately no decaf. The prices are a little on the upper end, but the portions are generous and we feel that we get our money's worth. We are especially fond of the live bands that play here on evenings. They're an integral part of the Monstera experience. They try their best to play our requests and they add so much to our enjoyment. If only we lived nearer, we'd go here more often. We are definitely coming back. Update: the cafe also upgraded their facilities. The floors are now made of roughly finished concrete, which is a big step up from the old gravel flooring.

This is my kinda joint! Dad took us here because he wanted to show all the monstera plants and it's so worth it! A little out of the way in Silang but the quiet and distance is also much needed and well deserved; we used Google Maps and were just fine coming from SLEX and using CALAX. We ordered the puto bumbong de leche and bibingka, the latter was well received, the former was just OK but a little lacking in taste. The chicken alfredo pasta got the seal of approval from my Tita and that's saying a lot. Coffee was GREAT; dad and I always love a good Spanish latte. I also had the matcha coffee which tasted more like coffee than matcha but it was still delicious! Overall, ambience - great, soooo mamy monstera species, beautiful garden setting; service - incredible and warm (sooo patient with your average Filipino families 😅); food and drink - good desserts and mains but would come back for the coffee! That being said, for sure, we'll be coming back. Thank you for setting up a lovely tambay place!
