Hello dear readers! For those who are passing thru Tagaytay proper, try visiting Munting Hardin ni Ponyang. It’s not your ordinary restaurant experience but it’s high quality food and efficient service to their customers as well as their very hospitable attitude is what makes them to have their 5 stars.
The food that we ordered was a bundle that includes chopsuey, rice, lechon kawali (more of like liempo), and iced tea. Also, we had some chicken fita which my mom really loved too 🫶🏼. We even had our takeaways. The chicken biryani and the sotanghon (I forgot to take a picture) All were scrumptious and worth a try.
The ambiance is very relaxing away from the hustles and bustle city in Manila. They also offer a glamping experience for the campers. ⛺️
The service was great. Given that the one who took our order was also a chef. He was very humble, patient because of our additional orders and kind.
I believe that the simplicity and humble beginnings of this restaurant would serve you a warm welcome experience.
I remembered the movie 🎥 eat, pray, love. It’s in this restaurant. 🫶🏼
Sometimes we need a calming environment too to keep us from getting burn out from the toxicity of life.
Halal food is available! 🇸🇦
Hoping to visit them again soon!...
Read moreKusina ni Ponyang is a lovely, unpretentious spot. The atmosphere is cozy and filled with plants. We started with their gahwa coffee and paired it with chicken shawarma. It was simple and well-made and not overly greasy. But the true standout was the beef biryani. The beef was fall-apart tender, and the basmati rice was perfectly spiced and fragrant! It’s a satisfying dish that feels homemade in the best way possible. We finished with the blue ternate tea, which was a fun little surprise since it changes color to a soft purple when you add calamansi. It’s the perfect end to the meal.
What really made the experience special was the chef coming out to chat with us. You can feel the care and passion behind the food here. It’s a place we'll definitely be...
