Mangrove Cafe — Restaurant in Sorsogon

When the pandemic hit, Rosita's Cafe had to close down. Then the next best cafe in town which was La Comida got burnt down --still missing their pizza. And then Mangrove popped up in Panganiban which filled in the void for my personal cravings of good food in the municipality. I keep this place as a silent recommendation to friends who ask me what my favorite restos are in Sorsogon cause the place is still small but super nice position which is near good tourist spots (i.e. Tulay sa Tibo, Coral Walk, and Gubat's view of Mt. Bulusan).

There are a lot of restos in Sorsogon which serve buffalo wings but you really should check out their basil-garlic buffalo wings--super good and super sulit. Will drop by again...

Went in at lunch so it was scorching hot. The fans of the place helped reduced that. The food and service was great. Friendly servers. The sizzling squid and the banana mudslide is a must try. The ambience was quite nice. The greenery around, the atmosphere the design was great. I like how one of the servers would be attentive enough as to see that you're water is almost finished and would relieve it again. Overall, it was a great experience. 10/10 and would definitely recommend/visit again if permitted. A place worth...

Food choices are great and service is also fast. The only thing that needs to be improved is the ambience and lightings and hope they can install aircon units. Oh, also, the mode of payment is only cash. It is a plus factor to have other options available to customers like debit cards or even credit cards.

We keep on going back there despite the above setbacks as I have said, the food and services are great!
