Balsa Kafe — Restaurant in Southern Leyte

Easy to find location with some parking available. Nice location in the rice fields, no noise or distractions. Nice cool breeze, so ambiance was very good. Service was very poor at best, no water brought to table only interaction is if you go to them. We had pork Lumpia, vegi salad with mango, pork ribs in some sort of sauce, tinola isda (tuna), pakbet, rice and mango shakes. Vegi salad was fresh, pakbet was good, the tinola isda was very salty and most likely used frozen fish not very good. The pork Lumpia had very little filling while the rice was good. The mango shake was ok. Maybe would be better if they were using fresh ingredients. Ambiance was very good but the food disappointing. Pricing expensive for small portions and ordinary...
