D'boat Cuisine — Restaurant in Tagbilaran

This is one of the weirdest restaurant in Tagbilaran. It fluctuates between a decent place to downright unbearable. My last 2 visits were so contrasting that it's hard to believe that it is the same restaurant. In my visit last may, the place smelled like lemoncito, it was clean and they served fresh, properly cooked meals. During my visit last September, the place was in a terrible state. The tables were greasy, it smelled greasy. The food was horrific. The grilled squid had a plastic smell. The fish was uncooked in the middle. Until they fix themselves, save yourself the frustration...

The food is affordable, the servings adequate, but the taste is regularly inconsistent. One time, it is delicious. On another day, it won't be. Some of the service staff can be impassive and lousy—they wouldn't approach you until you try very hard to get their attention. And because of that, sometimes the food takes too long to arrive in our table. And they still provide plastic straws—a huge trash contributor in any nation—with their cold beverages.The upside here is that the place has a spectacular view of the sea and Panglao Island, especially...

Appearances can be deceiving. Not greeted at door and had to get someone's attention to get a table. Air-conditioning not working. Large menu range but told after ordering, that many items were not available. After receiving half of the food we ordered we asked 3 times for the rest of our meals. After 10mins we left still waiting on one order. They tried offering takeaway but would still have to wait. Don't judge a book...
