This was definitely a hidden gem. We were headed to somewhere that was close and opted for Cafè Mate. We were skeptical because of the Cafè part and we were looking specifically for a restaurant for lunch. Upon entry it was very welcoming, the staff greeted us and sat us right away and were very attentive. Cafè Mate had a very extensive menu but the food took some time to arrive. The food was great though, so it made for the time it took to arrive. We’d say Nacho fries isn’t really their specialty but Filipino dishes is definitely it.
