No frills Japanese Restaurant. One of the best in the city!
Back when we only had Hanazono, ATOA and Skypark as the only options for Japanese food, Samurai was a welcome addition that made Japanese food more accessible. After nearly 8 years from their opening and when the only option I knew how to order was Pork Katsudon I got to try their offerings again.
Their tiny space has expanded and seemed to have doubled which made it a more comfortable dining experience. We had ebi tempura, gyoza and california maki.The servings were as big as they were before(You wont get 8 big-sized makis from your usual Japanese restaurant). Everything tasted great but the side salad was far from authentic.
