Gospoda Pod Czarnym Kurem — Restaurant in gmina Czernica

I visited this restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. The place was quite empty during our visit, which made the atmosphere feel a bit flat. Unfortunately, the sound of the waiter polishing cutlery and tossing it onto a tray echoed throughout the restaurant, detracting from the overall ambiance. The service was okay, but as someone with 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I could see room for improvement. Staff training is definitely needed to enhance professionalism and attention to detail. As for the food, it was decent but on the heavier side. The beer, however, was excellent and truly a highlight of the visit. That said, the pricing felt a bit steep for what we got in terms of food quality. Dessert, unfortunately, was the most disappointing part. We ordered ice cream, but it wasn’t the flavor we asked for, and there was a chunk of solid ice in the middle of the scoop. My mum nearly broke her tooth on it, as we weren’t expecting it at all. While the waiter did apologise, this was a serious oversight that marred the experience. Additionally, I didn’t appreciate being charged a small fee for a takeaway box. While it wasn’t much, it felt unnecessary and gave the impression of being nickel-and-dimed, especially given the already high prices. Bardzo lubię to miejsce, bywałem wiele razy czy rowerem czy przejazdem, dla beergeaka Browar Wiadawa mówi wiele.

Dziś jednak spotkałem się z sytuacją rodem z Monty Pythona, która bardzo zniechęciła mnie do tego miejsca.

Ogródki przygotowane dla gości, parasole rozłożone, na stoliku menu, sól pieprz... Nic nie zwiastuje żeby coś miało nie grać. Po bardzo długim oczekiwaniu idziemy zamówić na bar gdzie dowiadujemy się, że na ogródku można tylko pić piwo, a jemy w środku. Podobno, obsługa dostaje zapalenia płuc wychodząc na ogródek (17 stopni w cieniu). Dobrze, ok, jesteśmy w stanie przyjąć takie tłumaczenie, to w końcu oni tu pracują. Proponujemy, że zapłacimy od razu, sami sobie przyniesiemy i odniesiemy naczynia. Dla normalnego człowieka win, win, ale nie dla betonu w osobie kierowniczki. Nie, bo nie. Na wynos? Też nie. Pani była też wyraźnie zdenerowana tłumacząc nam to wszyskto, ale pewnie nie robiła tego pierwszy raz nawet dziś gdyż skonsternowanych tym obyczajem osób przez chwilę, którą siedzieliśmy na piwie widzieliśmy masę. Wniosków się nie spodziewam.

Cóż, pewnie wrócę za miesiąc i dam 5/5. Piwo przednie, jedzenie ok, kelnerzy mili, ale kierowniczka zdecydowanie zasłużyła...
