This place was a highlight of our trip! We stayed in the centre of Zakopane and got the bus to just outside this local restaurant. The place was empty but it felt so authentic like you were sat in your grandmas dining room eating freshly made pierogi that you could watch them make through the window to the next room. They didn’t speak any English but the lady was so kind and friendly as we attempted to awkwardly google translate the menu (and our love for the food!) It is the BEST pierogi we’ve ever eaten! We got one plate with lamb and one with a local smoked cheese. We finished all of it and we’re extremely full and happy before going onto the chocholowska thermal baths. Absolutely would recommend...

However through the help of GoogleTranslate and a little knowledge of the Russian language we were able to order some food. You can see the staff making the Pierogi by hand through the window into the kitchen, the Pierogi was very tasty and felt like it was made with love and care.
