This is a restaurant with additional rooms, this ain't a hotel. There is a small reception in the hallway and you can push a button after no one shows up. You have to look into the restaurant and one of the waiters need to help you. They look cranky while I was waiting there as if I bothered them with our arrival. Same situation during checkout. I ate in the restaurant, pretty expensive for Polish standards, starter was okay, while my friend was still eating the starter a waiter brought the soups in stead of apologize for his mistakes he just served the soup on the table. That was getting cold while finishing our starter. I ordered goose breast from the English menu. I don't what got lost in the translation but it was most definitely no goose breast. The meat was dry, the vegetables were the best part of the diner. Don't mind to pay premium but expect better food than what was served. ||A big part of a hotel experience is the staff and feeling welcome. The staff, except for one woman behind the bar, were rude, not friendly and arrogant. Big no no for a hotel. ||The shower in the whirlpool, room 13, was broken and leaked water all over the bathroom. The whirlpool suction protection cap was broken so I've got a nice suction mark on my leg. The whirlpool water jets didn't work very well. ||The decor is amazing but does not make up...

I've had dinner a couple of times in the restaurant but this was the first time I stayed in the accommodation above as my usual hotel in the centre was fully booked.

I picked this hotel as it is small and quiet and has easy access to the airport and the centre. It was great value for money and a fraction of the price for those in the centre.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, and although the rooms are very basic.....they have a quirky charm and just what you need; a comfy bed and a nice shower!

Best feature about this place though is the food. Traditional dishes, plenty on the plate and it tastes fantastic. Really great value and the beer is absolutely amazing. Quite easy drink several pints and stumble upstairs to crash out!
