Mazurkowa Chata — Restaurant in Jelenia Góra

We travel with a dog, so I called to check if we can eat there. I got informed that there are no chances to eat inside, which is fine, but we could eat on the terrace. We decided to go. We found a dry spot to sit (as the day was partially rainy), so I went inside to order. The weiteres informed me that we will not be served as the terrace was closed today because of rain earlier that day. I asked why I received a different information though the phone - she answered that someone else answered the phone and she does not care. She did not allow us to go inside. I asked if I can order and carry the food outside on my own, if it is too cold for them. She again said no. I was already unhappy, but when saw people going out from the restaurant with a dog, but much smaller than ours, I understood it is not a strict hygiene policy or whatever. Extremely poor service!!! We’ve been there a couple of times and and never so disappointed like this time ! First of all I called them to ask how long should we wait to get food(we usually ordered in advance not to wait too long at the restaurant because the wait is always 1h+) , waitress said minimum one hour even this time. I said I would like to order in advance, cause we will arrive there in 20 min as it saves us some time on a busy schedule. The waitress responded that I can pick up the food but can not eat at the restaurant, which I considered very rude, as I told her we have done it multiple times before. She screamed at me that this is impossible and that they have never done that before, which is a lie. Do not recommend because of poor customer service. Thank you for making a pregnant and hungry...

Probably the best żurek in bread you can have in the area or Poland, I've tried a few 😅 Overall good food, ok priced for the portions size. Tried their pierogis as well as placek po wegersku (potato pancake Hungarian style - where you can choose different toppings, meat, veggies, etc). Great location and atmosphere, service decent though sometimes the servers can seem a bit hectic and slightly...arrogant. But otherwise, we always come back here for the żurek. Also recommend trying their newest location in Cieplice, in the Norwegian park - with smaller portions, slightly lower prices and a bit fancier decor, food just as good! But then again, be warned the portions here at this first location...
