Oaza — Restaurant in Poznan

Unfortunately not fortunate visit. We can't expect fresh food there. Nor prepared as the menu says. At least now - in September 2018. Let's hope something changes soon ;)

It has pushed me to a small nostalgic analyse. Another great place's potential is being waisted in this country... Which is totally understood as the simplest market rule of demand-supply still applies no matter story of a country and their possibilities. Time still needs to pass and keep changing menthalities and... salaries in Poland, for places to be able to expand and provide better quality. As long as the priority is "saving on everything"... the quality of service won't be shining. And! won't be able to motivate creative and willing people, who live in Poland, to make great results at work. So I wish Oaza and all beautiful places like that to work their way out to be able to take care of everything with fresh energy, ideas and attention to food quality and interior's design. I hope to see the huge garden around being taken care of, and greatly used as the entertainment or calmness...

Nice burger and prawn bowl. Strange service in some respects: we were the first customers but our table had some uninviting greasy patches; the waitress not only didn't clean them but she put the salt and pepper on one of them (which wouldn't hide it because of its size) and my plate on the other. Also, the wait time was way too long, considering we were the only guests when we ordered while it's a big place meant to serve a lot of people (so under these circumstances I'm not buying the wait-time disclaimer in the menu). The best part is probably the charming patio with the lake in the background, even if the plants on the patio edges are not...

Na majowy weekend szef kuchni polecał szaszłyk z łososia, dorsza i cukinii na makaronie z pomidorkami koktajlowymi oraz oliwkami.... ale aby zjeść te cudo nie wejdziesz do restauracji od uczęszczanej alejki przy plaży tylko od parkingu. Właściciele tak odgradzają się od potencjalnych gości co dla osób chcących zostawić swoje pieniądze jest niezrozumiałe !!! Znalazłem drogę " od parkingu" poprzez zaplecze z którego dobiegały odgłosy z kuchni powszechnie używane za niecenzuralne i co.... aby usiąść w ogródku ( który świecił pustkami) trzeba przejść przez lokal, kolejna przeszkoda dla gości. Wszystko szczelnie pozamykane chyba przed gośćmi, którzy mieliby zamiar zjeść i nie zapłacić. Ale to nie koniec niespodzianek, w ogródku nie wolno przebywać z zwierzętami !!?? GRATULUJE pomysłowość właścicielom aby tak dalej. Teraz rozumiem dlaczego inne punkty gastronomiczne " pękały" od nadmiaru gości, a w Oazie pustki. Właścicielom daleko jednak do Europy, polecam wycieczkę do naprawdę nie tak daleko oddalonego Berlina, tam coś takiego jest nie do pomyślenia. Klient to gość, który zostawia pieniądze, pieniądze z których właściciel żyje a zadowolony klient to gwarancja powrotu. PS Krótka lekcja z j polskiego dla osoby piszącej aktualności na stronie internetowej. Potrawa proponowana na majowy weekend to SZASZŁYK, TEN rodzaj męski w mianowniku, a nie szaszłyka w dopełniaczu.
