To avoid at all cost! We entered with a few families under a reservation made a few weeks before. Although the restaurant wasn't full at all we could not choose 'a la carte'. They only gave us one option: a kind of mixed meat platter which we did not like very much but they insisted on as otherwise we would have to wait for 'eternity' to have everything ready. We could hardly manage to get the children something else: chicken instead of their trotter and blood sausage that they eventually dished up at a price double what we pay in Warsaw, where we all live. The waitress did not want to take personal notes for everyone what we wanted to drink. Instead we had to order the same for the whole table: a bottle of apple juice for the children and wine or beer for us. Read moreTrying to be the highlander style tavern but lacking on some originality. Stuff seems not too friendly. Nothing wrong with doing it just the attitude or vibe one may sense. Staring from far and guessing ones intentions. They seemed to be amused with guests behaviours. Nothing wrong about it. It's just slightly weird stuff doesn't have much to do. The locals tell that it's not the right place to go to. Look for "Stara Karczma". Now I also know. Will try there pork knuckles my favourite meal in...

The third, a lady who looked like the restaurant manager first said they were all booked and then when we pointed to a table she said yes. It seems that the fact that most of their staff do not speak English makes them seem rude and unfriendly. Thankfully when we sat down the gentleman who served us was really trying to communicate and was courteous and nice to us. The food is typical polish food with no options for a different cuisine. Portions are good and...
