Retro Diner — Restaurant in Tychy

The portions are HUGE. Great food, great vibe, and truly fantastic service. It is not obvious that you may park in any of the spots in front of the diner but once I confirmed it inside it was OK to do so as parking is free for restaurant guests. The Polish twist on the American classics is definitely omnipresent but personally I think it was exciting to try. But it’s quite different from what we’re used to in in the US or Canada, for example the Buffalo wings were very saucy and effectively had two types of sauce but hey, more is more. Best american restaurant I have been to in Silesia and in Poland for quite a while. If you are there you definitely (it is a must, kompletna szajba smakowa) need to go for a 'Freakshake'. The Cheese Soup (zupa serowa) is a complete winner as well. Overall the place feels like truly one of these 50's inspired roller skate drive-ins of the American Midwest with man sized portions and great smalltown-like service. I' can't wait...

Full of meaningless rules. We wanted a corner table, we had to sit at the table that was indicated. We travel by bike and we always have a thermos bottle with water, we were asked to remove the bottle from the table because the restaurant sells drinks.
