Swagat — Restaurant in Warsaw

My wife and I were in the neighborhood for a concert and decided to try Swagat Kuchni Indyiska. Before we even entered the place we were greeted by wonderful smells of Indian spices. Upon entering the small neighborhood restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly server who welcomed us with a smile. We started with Indian tea and Samosas, the tea was strong and tasty and the Samosas were packed with flavor, the best I have had in Warsaw! I had a sizzling chicken plate and my wife had a chicken dish with Indian cheese. Both dishes were amazing, each bite was packed with flavor and was perfectly cooked. We also had onion naan and onion fried rice, both were exceptional, the rice was so tasty I was looking forward to eating the leftovers for breakfast but we ate all of it and had none to take home! To finish out meal we had another tea and shared an ice cream dessert called tutti frutti and an order of small Indian cakes. The cakes reminded me of English shortbread, not overly sweet with a nice texture and great flavor. For a small restaurant that I never knew existed Swagat was by far the best Indian food we have had in the past year while...

Заказ включал Garlic Naan -1,Better naan - 3,Pakora -1,Palak Paneer - 1,Vegetable Koffta -1,Dal Tadka - 1,Onion Rice - 1,Chicken Tikka - 1. Ходили туда 1.5 года,это чтобы никто не обвинил ненароком, с коллегами из Индии в т. ч. Надеюсь в придачу с рвотой не наградили пожизненным вирусом. Фото не прилагаю,хотя имеются.

The Order to go placed 11.03.18 (~16)for 3 ppl. Same late eve 2 out 3 had high temperature and vomiting till next day. The order included:Garlic Naan -1,Better naan - 3,Pakora -1,Palak Paneer - 1,Vegetable Koffta -1,Dal Tadka - 1,Onion Rice - 1,Chicken Tikka - 1. We went to this restaurant for the last 1.5 year with colleagues from India, so no one could blame that comment is indecorous.moreover, staff remembers our faces. I hope, in addition to vomiting, we were not awarded with a lifelong virus. Photo is not attached, although there are taken. Anything to respond? Or money refund? I think it is time to escalate this to city...

As an Indian, I would recommend you should skip this restaurant. Do not visit if you want to try authentic Indian food. Do not fall in the ratings trap. You will not find a lot of Indians reviewing this restaurant.

I came around 21:20 to dine in. They said dine-in is closed, you have to takeaway. I took vegetable Biryani it was so bland, it had no taste at all. Not cooked properly. A few pieces of raw paneer (Indian cottage cheese), it was not even cooked were in the middle of biriyani. And for gravy, they gave me some paneer's gravy, that was also sweet full of sugar.

Really pathetic.

It was one of my worst experiences in an Indian...
