Club House's restaurant — Restaurant in Óbidos

Servers are so nice and friendly, but ultimately it's like an episode of Fawlty Towers, they are falling all over each other, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing.

Food is fine, but not worth the price, so much better available of you drive to Peniche or even Serra d'el Rei. Desserts, kids mocktails and fish are especially overpriced. "Chinese Crepes" are basically frozen miniature spring rolls (translation issue or someone with notions!?!) and there is a lot more frozen stuff on the menu including the kids menu. Avoid the tapas for this exact reason. The burgers were good and the steak on the stone was excellent. But ultimately nothing to write home about. Would not go back. Some serious customer service training is needed. It feels like they grabbed a bunch of people off the street and said hey, let's run a restaurant today. You kept wondering when the cameras would show up, but unfortunately it was...

We arrived at the resort on Sunday. We were tired an didn't feel like driving into town or dressing up for dinner at the hotel. We decided on the Club house, we weren't very hungry so we ordered 3 tapas, the chicken wings were terrible, very dry and tasted like they were reheated. The beef and the spring rolls were good. This restaurant is not worth the high prices. Food was average, and the service was poor. The food received was not as ordered, so one person in our group had to wait while everyone else ate. There was no compensation for the error. Perhaps service is better for club members. We definitely will not visit this...
