Maré — Restaurant in Óbidos

We stayed in one of the houses at the resort and breakfast was included at this restaurant every day. The selection of food was excellent, the place is light and open which is nice in the morning and the location is perfect for this side of the resort. The kids enjoyed the buffet breakfast, as did we adults. Particular shout out to the front of house staff member who was always giving a warm welcome, very attentive and checking everything was ok and providing knowledge of the area. He is a great asset to the restaurant. Would recommend for breakfast...

Should be called the nightmare not mare we had two simple starters 42 euro just for food those yes your overlooking the sea but seriously place was almost empty on Friday evening. I had a tempura shrimp which basically consisted of 5 pieces of deep fried prawn and a sauce in the smallest jar I’ve ever seen half the prawns would not fit in the jar I would love to have been around the so called management table when they decided on this menu a joke...

the view is beautiful but we chose the coldest time of our vacation. the servers were very flexible and got us an outside table and tried to warm up the place. the food was very nicely presented, elegant and very tasty. the interior of the restaurant is very friendly, pleasant and spectacular.
