Taberna Viracopos — Restaurant in Óbidos

We found this family run place randomly on our way back from Obidos to Baleal - I’m so happy we did! We were made to feel welcome and had a great delicious dinner cooked which was so much better than the touristic offerings in Baleal. I had the fish bake - cod fish, potatoes, onion, greens, cheese and cornbread topping - so good! And massive portion. Following a recommendation we ate here. It’s a few miles from Praia del Rey but certainly worth the trip. Typical small village with narrow streets but we found a large parking area down the road at the side of the restaurant.
