Não recomendo a ninguém, a minha experiência foi uma desilusão porque vi bons comentários aqui e depois cheguei lá a pensar que ia ter um bom jantar que se revela dos piores restaurantes onde já estive. Só vende pela garrafeira. foi péssimo, sem educação, sem amabilidade, a empregada devia estar a fazer as férias de verão da candidatura ao primeiro ano de hotelaria porque não sabia nada queria impingir nos os pratos do dia sem sequer trazer o cardápio para vermos os preços ela também não sabia dizer teve de perguntar a outra, já se torna desconfortavel que chegue termos de perguntar preços, ao que ela respondia "o bacalhau fresco deve ser mais caro mas não sei quanto é".... Depois trás as entradas e perguntou se queriamos enquanto já tirava já a película aderente á nossa frente, nem nas tascas fazem isto, e nós no desconforto de não sabermos se custava 5 ou 15 euros ou 50 tivemos de perguntar quanto custa porque não nos traziam o menu....devem ter achado que tínhamos ar de ricos e que não íamos precisar saber preços...:D Além de que para saber se quero ou não um queijo não me basta ver e dizer que é bonito e tenho fome, tal como um paio fatiado, quero ver no menu que queijo é, origem e tipo! nunca me aconteceu ter de insistir tanto para me darem o menu, depois como os pratos do dia não estavam lá escritos tínhamos de fixar o que ela dizia, devem ter ficado sem impressora... única forma de saber preços de entradas e pratos do dia era de facto perguntar e fixar tudo. Devíamos ter ido logo embora mas demos a oportunidade de vir a comida. A comida nada surpreendente, o mais basic possível, o pior pato com laranja da minha vida, estou habituada ao Maigret quando peço pato c laranja, este pato veio cheio de ossos incluindo a carcaça que se usa para tirar os restos de carne para o arroz de pato, incluindo fígados que nem para o arroz de pato se aproveita, sem molho de laranja só com 2 rodelas meio cozido. No final a Conta trazia para pagarmos coisas que não comemos..como o cesto de pão. Chamei a atenção para retificar ao que a empregada me pergunta "não comeram o pão mas comeram as tostas que vinham com os carabineiros?" Eu cliente é que tive de explicar á empregada que se vinha incluído não pode ser cobrado á parte... Inacreditável só visto. A sorte é que me apanharam em modo zen senão tinha pedido o livro de reclamações. O restaurante estava vazio, num domingo em julho às 21h00, 4 mesas ocupadas e se continuar assim, as décadas de fama passam á história e acaba por fechar. A partir do momento em que escolho um restaurante referenciado em revistas que falam num top Ten que inclui aqui em Albufeira o Vila Joya espero o mínimo de apontamentos e regras...

This is a fantastic restaurant. I’ve been coming here for seven years and the place has an amazing decor to start with.

Food wise we had the starters on the table of crab, prawns and we asked for the octopus. The octopus was possibly the best cooked I’ve ever had it. So so soft and tender. Amazing.

For mains we all had lots of different dishes, pheasant, salt cod, prawns and clams, prawns etc. all delicious and everyone remarked how good the food was. Excellent!

The service is great here. The owner is friendly and can help with recommendations for wine or port or whatever you might like.

For desert I had the mouse. And others had the fruit platter. Couldn’t fault any of it.

The restaurant boasted a pleasant atmosphere with creative decor involving wine bottles and wood, creating a visually appealing ambiance. Their extensive wine collection stood out as a definite positive. However, our experience took a downturn as starters were served without prior notice of charges, leaving us feeling tricked. The lamb stew, while okay, was overly salty and the meat, unfortunately, overcooked. The pricing seemed disproportionate to the overall dining experience, and an unwelcoming vibe further diminished our enjoyment. Fabulous experience, a perfect balance of simplicity, authenticity and quality. Everything seems to be done with a true attention to details and a will to do well. Our waiter Jose spoke multiple languages fluently and was very nice, knowledgeable and responsive. Carlos the sommelier was very knowledgeable and advised exactly right, knowing precisely what we asked for. The cuisine is on the same page, with extremely well executed classics. The ambiance and decoration matches exactly this. Looking forward to coming back!

Arrived without booking at lunchtime and was lucky to get a table. Thanks to a very nice waitress, who served us throughout the whole superb meal, we got seated. Three of us had duck l' orange which came all on one platter for sharing and was cooked perfectly. The other member of our party had pork medallions which was also delicious. Washed down with a glass of vino da casa, the meal was perfect. I must also mention the panacotta for desert, which was one of the best I've ever tasted.
