We had to time our lunches with O Barril because it's only open between 12:00 to 14:30. There's lots of space available for seating but you'll have either reserve a table or get there earlier than the locals and workers. This place is busy! Food, and their daily specials, are value packed and do not command the overhead that the 'touristy' eateries in 'centro' Albufeira. Prices are very reasonable and we rarely exceeded €40 for the both of us, including couvert, lunch specials, bottled water, 50cl of vinho da casa, coffee and dessert. We felt bad about the total that we often left a "tip"! Bravo to the staff and kitchen. We knew this was a great find when the parking lot is full and there are work trucks everywhere!
