This place is amazing!! Yes, the wait is a bit long for the food - it’s ok, it’s worth it. From the start, we were treated with such warmth and kindness that made us feel right at home (we had a million questions regarding the menu - being that we are not locals). Our waiter answered all our questions. We love the meticulous care taken in the restaurant (the dishes are beautiful!). Lastly, the food!! We don’t think we’ve ever had a more sublime, beautiful rice! Local rice with coentros, soupy, delicious! Galo fish filets, fried, full of flavor and tender. The lagartos de porco preto - an ode to the Alentejo. Perfectly cooked, succulent meat. Served with fries, the perfect combo. I wish I had taken better photos but was too busy enjoying my food!
