We had a fantastic experience here! Away from the overpriced instagram based Comporta restaurants, this is your family oriented and friendly neighborhood restaurant.

Their speciality is Frango Assado (grilled chicken) and it was EXCELLENT. Housewine was a pleasant surprise. For dessert we wanted the famous “doce da casa” (the house specialty dessert) but it was sold out, so we settled for the chocolate mousse. Thank God we did because it was the best mousse I have ever eaten. Do not skip on it.

Excellent service by Gabriel - loveliest gentleman serving us, made sure we were having a great time throughout and was always smiling.

It could go unnoticed. It's small, and it's not in the main road. But if you have the chance, stop and ask for one of their dishes... The roasted chicken is amazing. The "secreto" accompanied with mango, kiwis and grapes is delicious! (It's the way they eat it, and it's great!! I've never thought about it. What a good idea!) The French fries are not frozen, so imagine its sweet flavour... The mixed salad is simple, fresh, delicious at the same time... There's a take away option too. We've enjoyed it a lot, and we will once more......

Absolutely incredible chicken, the best I've had in Portugal and we've been here 4 years. Only down side was that because we chose to sit and eat outside (it was sunny and around 19:00) - it meant we had to collect our food from the bar and bring it out ourselves oh and...
