Taberna da Barrosinha — Restaurant in Alcácer do Sal

We passed by car several times and outdoor lighting called our attention. After checking on maps, menu seemed interesting and we decided to stop by. For our surprise, new management took it over, and menu variety turned limited to just meat-fries-salad. Management informed us afterwards about the new project.

Location definitely has potential and plenty of decorative opportunities, but they are still on a very very early stage, such as service (still a bit chaotic, cold serving…) Very interesting and affordable locally produced wine.

Mosquitoes’ presence definitely needs to be fixed somehow.

Although the experience had improvement room (only two weeks opened) we will definitely give it another try when...

Did not get a response for an online reservation and only found out at the hotel that they are open for lunch only. But very cool place, probably the old Cantina for the workers. Friendly service. The only downside was one meat was extremely tough. But when we mentioned this, they took the item off the bill...

We had a nice time there. The food was great and with good quantity, and the staff very friendly. We eat there twice. It felt like a picnic where someone is preparing the barbecue for you, and you just need to select the meat you wanna eat. Nice experience overall both inside...
