I highly recommend visiting Cantinho dos Charutos if you want to eat fresh, perfectly cooked Portuguese food in a local restaurant.

We stopped at Cantinho dos Charutos on a busy day sightseeing in the area and it was the best lunch we've had in some time. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked and came with a vegetable rice. The beef was thinly slices and pan fried with rice and fries. The salad was fresh and crunchy. After we finished, we were offered more food in case it was not enough. What more can you ask for?

Best of all was the friendly welcome and a lovely waitress who made it possible to overcome the language barrier enjoy the famous Portuguese...

A comida é muito saborosa e o staff atencioso mas infelizmente a ganância está presente e os preços mudam conforme o cliente. Prática tão portuguesa e tão lamentável, quando perguntamos o que estava incluído no prato do dia , não sabiam responder e no fim pagamos um menu turístico só porque não somos clientes habituais. Isto devia ser punido pela lei mas uma queixa á ASAE também resolve. Vergonhoso a proprietária ainda se deu ao trabalho de me responder e chamar de mentirosa o que lamento pois tenho o talão que vou publicar para que vejam quem está aqui a mentir. Cobram-me azeitonas que nem as vi, cobraram café que não tomamos , quando questionamos sobre o que incluía diária não souberam responder e infelizmente pagamos antes de ver o talão senão teríamos reclamado. No exterior tem uma tabela de preço de valor individual não tem menção ao menu em lado nenhum. Pode ser que de agora em diante tratem...
