Costa Brava — Restaurant in Alcobaça

An amazing restaurant right in the same property as the hotel we stayed at for a night. The lady who checked us in also ensured that we could get a table for dinner. We waited in the small room nearby and got to taste their wine while waiting for the table. The hospitality is top notch. The food was amazing and the quantity and what's included with the dish is so much that I had a hard time not wasting it. The quality and taste was so great that I could not stop. We had steak, tofu dish and veggie burger. The tofu dish was like the Gumbo taste and my daughter loved it. The veggie burger did not include the bun/bread but that made it more delicious. The steak was perfect and we got some greens, bread porridge and it was tasty and quantity wise more than what the three of us could feast on. We did not have any space to try their deserts and that was my regret. The staff were welcoming, amazing and attentive. The price was reasonable/ cheaper compared to other places where we tried similar food. Will return back if we drive through next...

Costa Brava is without doubt an excellent restaurant. The food, drink selection and most of all staff are superb providing a 5 star service from the start to finish of our meal. Their is a wide range of expertly cooked meals available to cater for every taste, and the wine and drink selection to accompany your meal is extensive. If you love wine then this will definitely be the restaurant for you, the sommelier is excellent at matching the perfect wine with the relevant dish. If desert is your thing then Costa Brava will not disappoint. Each day they have a selection of approx 15-20 different handmade deserts to choose from, and whilst I am not a desert fan the remainder of my group assure me they were delicious. I booked a room at Costa Brava for a couple of nights and also ate at the restaurant.

The room I was in was one of the newer remodeled rooms. It was very efficient, clean and comfortable. Because it was in the corner, the internet reception was quite poor; I was able to get so-so reception on the laptop, but my cell phone could not pick up the signal.

Inside the restaurant, however, one can get 5G reception.

The food at the restaurant was excellent. I had the lamb chops, which came with a side salad, fries, and black beans. All were yummy! The staff are super sweet and efficient. It was really busy . . . I guess it was carnival weekend!
