O Farpas — Restaurant in Alcochete

By far the best meat I have ever eaten! 🤤 Posta Barrosã is a MUST try but also the Bacalhau and the amazing starters! (I recommend the Choco Frito 🐙 !

Portions are HUGE and one is enough for 2/3 people! It's incredible how cheap the food is and the quality is the highest. Great atmosphere, very cosy and not noisy restaurant. It is quite small and they do not accept reservations so make sure you arrive early (19.30) ! Staff are super friendly too and don't forget to try the homemade desserts 😋.

For less than 20 euro per person you can afford giant portions of food, drinks, starters, dessert, coffee and they still offer some liquors in the end !

Best hidden gem in...

We got the Posta for 12.50 (receipt in the pics) and it was enough for 2 people. The serving portion was fairly big! The steak was cooked nicely, as you can see in the pics as well. The only downside is that the fries weren't fried enough. They weren't that crispy ( still very enjoyable ).

Told us to wait outside without saying how much time we would wait, since it was hot in direct sun and unpleasant next to the road we went back in after a few minutes... we were immediately told to go outside again. To be clear there were tables available. But service was too overwhelmed with a half empty room to find a sit for us. We just left to the restaurant next door much more pleasant...
