Absolutely awful place.
The staff seems confused and overwhelmed (with 10 guests in total) and we were misinformed on the phone, leading to completely inaccurate food orders.
We had Moroccan tajine, which was a total sham. It was a massive pile of overcooked vegetables, cheap meat with bone splinters and no spices, no flavour. The vegetarian tajine was the same price as the chicken tajine, that's how much they value their meat quality I guess. The alcohol was tasteless and cheap.
The ambience was the worst. The dogs running around were cute, but uncontrolled. One of the dogs was very big and running after a child that was terrified of it. The staff did nothing. I love having dogs around, but not when I'm eating and the dog urinates against a tree stump next to our table.

We went there tonight because of the great reviews. We are normal people and don't expect anything fancy or special but It was our worst holiday experience. The whole restaurant made us feel uncomfortable (no other guests, just a view friends of the owner as it seemed and very loud music). There were two dogs (wich would normally not be a problem since we like pets) but one of the dogs PEED on our table and the other one barked at us as soon as we got our food. The owner did nothing against it.
The food was not good at all. I wasn't able to eat anything beside the fries.
I don't know where the good reviews come from .. just don't make the same...

The atmosphere is unique, with a distinct decoration and unusual and comfortable setup. The service was excellent and the owners are super friendly and accommodating. The first time we had different cuts of the "porco preto" and loved it. As we were talking with the owners, they mentioned the tagine and described its preparation and cooking procedure, so we decided to come back and try two of the tagines... and it was worth it. It was also a nice break from all the seafood we were eating in...
