I had the pleasure of dining at Quinta da Lama, a former olive oil mill that has been transformed into a delightful restaurant. The place exudes a cozy and rustic charm, with clay pots and vintage stone adorning the dining room. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from traditional Portuguese cuisine to Mediterranean and European influences. I opted for the “posta à lagar”, a succulent tenderloin steak cooked in olive oil and garlic, and the cod with cornbread, a classic Portuguese dish that was moist and flavorful. Both dishes were exquisite and prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. The salads and bread were also very good. For dessert, I indulged in the “leite creme”, a creamy custard with a caramelized crust. It was heavenly, one of the best I ever had. I also enjoyed the house wine, a local red wine that complemented the food perfectly. The service was impeccable and attentive, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I had a splendid time at Quinta da Lama and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying dining experience...

I took our group of friends on our way to Madrid. The owners took us in and prepared our table for 10 people, even though we made a late reservation. Everything was ON POINT. Raquel (the owner) recommended what wine to pair our food with.

The food was delicious. The best in our 4 day trip to Porto. The COD and chuleton were fresh and perfectly cooked.

I could continue on and on but bottom line I just wanted to show my appreciation to the owners and their team by giving this place a 100 points rating and...

If you love good meat this is the place for you. Ask for the "posta" and be delighted by its flavor. Served with potatoes and rice on the side, it's a must for your journey.

Place is cozy and people are very friendly and helpful.

Two glasses of whine, "posta" for two and desert goes for around €30.

I'm very grateful for the experience and wish everyone the best. Without a doubt one of the...

Rustic authentic place in the middle of mountainous countryside. Wine yards all over. The food was really delicious. Very comforting and well prepared we tried steak with mushrooms and cheese, as well as meat of the day - chicken with potatoes. For desert leite (milk) cream. White wine was bubbly and refreshing. I highly recommend it if you travel from Porto inland along Duoro valley .

Honestly, some of the greatest food I've ever had served in an amazing, quaint agricultural building. Generous portions of amazing meats, fish, and wine. To the owners, please change out your lightbulbs! This place could be so much better if instead of cold blue light, it was a warm lighting (below 3000K). Please! We'll be back to check.
