This place is fantastic for both food and wine! All the food menu is fantastic, my personal suggestion is try the “folhados queijo serra e mel” as well as the “esferas de alheira” for starters. For mains everything is good but best to ask the waiter for recommendations as the menu changes however every time i’ve asked they have given excellent one’s. WINE! You want to aim for a bottle costing around the 25 BUT from the Bairrada or dão region. If you go for bairrada make sure it’s at least 6 years old. These bottles on a price quality basis will equate your 80$...

Great place to eat and taste wines. 12,5€ for the starter, main course and dessert with coffee accompanied by wines. We've booked a table by email and after the lunch had an excursion in English (it's free) which took about 30 mins. We were there in the end of September and were lucky to see the grape harvest. Building is made in the shape of an oak barrel and it's super modern. We were traveling with our dog, so we left her outside in the shadow, while we had lunch and excursion. Great experience! The food was very good, and the service fantastic. This amazing architectural building holds a restaurant, events room, and wine cellar surrounded by vineyards. Had dinner with friends and family on Saturday night. We had: Bacalhau á Quinta do Encontro, Mar e Terra pra dois, Magret de Pato, Risoto Vegano com cogumelos, Risoto com Camarão e Aspargos, and Quinta do Encontro Red Wine. Everything was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious. We enjoyed the whole experience....
